ilucara is a studio for the applied-AI era. We build for teams who need to move fast, get into the trenches on the hard technical problems others can't solve, and ship products of our own, starting with Asta.
For teams getting AI to do real work: enablement, implementation, software, and hardware. Senior hands, no theater.
See what we do →We don't just build for other teams. We design and ship our own products, the kind of software we'd want to use. The first is Asta, a calendar app.
Meet Asta →We work with founders, operators, and investors on the hard, ambiguous parts: the work where being right matters more than being fast, and where shipping still matters most of all.
We help large organizations ship secured, production-grade agents and agentic harnesses for internal use: systems that clear security review and actually get adopted. It's the core of what we do today.
We take on the builds that need senior engineering hands, from a sharp proof of concept through to production systems that hold up.
We work across the hardware/software line, where the interesting problems usually live and the details decide everything.
Some problems don't fit a category. If it needs building, that's the conversation we like having.
We give investors and boards a candid read on a target's technology, team, and risk. It's real judgment, from leaders who've shipped in the trenches, not a checklist.
We take on a small number of engagements at a time. For inquiries, email a sentence or two about the work. We read every note and reply to the ones that fit.
hello@ilucara.comThe calendar for people with more than one calendar.
Asta is ilucara's first consumer product: a fast, private calendar that brings your Google, Microsoft, and iCloud accounts together in one schedule. We loved Notion Calendar (previously Cron), but we needed Microsoft support and real cross-calendar blocking, so we built it ourselves.
If we will it,
we can build it.
ilucara is Quenya (Tolkien's Elvish) for omnificent: able to make all things. It's a high bar and a quiet promise. What we can clearly imagine, we can usually build, for you or for the world directly.
